New here?
What to expect on a Sunday morning
The practical things, answered before you have to ask.
What do I wear?
Wear whatever makes you most comfortable. On any given Sunday you'll see someone in a suit and tie, a dress, jeans, and possibly even a soccer uniform because they're headed right to the game after church.
How long does it last?
Patio services are about half an hour and indoor services about an hour, and both are filled with music and food for theological thought.
Where do I park?
We have our own parking lot, and when it fills up there is room on the street and in the parking garage.
What about my kids?
Bring them. Kids are invited to use fidget toys and activities from our liturgical library, and they head to Sunday School class with music shortly after worship begins.
Wherever you are on your faith journey
Whether you grew up in a Presbyterian church or have never been inside one, you are welcome here. No one will ask about your faith when you walk through the door.
Can I take communion?
We celebrate an open communion table. All are invited to share in this sacrament together — no matter your age!
Out in the neighborhood
Much of what we do happens outside the building
A summer camp, a block party that closes the street, six raised garden beds feeding a food pantry, and a free store open to the whole neighborhood.
Compassion Camp
Two weeks of summer day camp for children entering 4K through 5th grade, built on kindness and hands-on service projects for the neighborhood.

Block Party
Each year as summer winds down, we close the street for food trucks, ice cream, games and a bounce house.

Good Neighbour Exchange
Two donation days and a free store day each summer, with Catch the Wave Shorewood and the Shorewood Waters Project. Everything free, nobody asked why they came.
