REV JEANNINE OAKES DAUGHERTY

Reverend Jeannine Oakes Daugherty has been an ordained teaching elder in the PC(USA) since May 2015. She has served as a children, youth, and family minister, a chaplain on a community mental health team, and as a solo pastor. 

Jeannine grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and received a BFA in Film, Photography, and Electronic Media from UIC, an MDiv from Yale Divinity School and the Institute of Sacred Music, and an MA in Urban Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. 

Jeannine, her wife Denise, and their daughters Riley, Logan, and Addison moved from Southern California to Shorewood when Jeannine began her call as permanent pastor at NSPC in January 2024. 

 Jeannine has a passion for urban ministry, worship, music, and good old church fellowship and Bible studies. She has a deep love for libraries, film, as well as elite and NCAA Women's Gymnastics. 

SEAN DEBOTH

Sean DeBoth has been Director of Music for North Shore Presbyterian since 2004. He is also a Vocal and General Music instructor and Musical Director at Lake Denoon Middle School.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Carroll College in 1998 and a Master’s in Music Education from UWM. 

Sean grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin & currently resides in Mukwonago with his wife, Jaime, and his three beautiful children: Maddigan , Ayden , and Bradey. 

JEFF PETERSON

Jeff is professor emeritus at UWM and holds degrees from the Oberlin College 
Conservatory of Music & the University of Illinois.  Also an accomplished organist, he has served churches in Madison and Milwaukee for over 44 years. 

When not practicing the organ and piano, he spends time cooking, reading, attending plays and concerts and traveling. In the summer he enjoys boating, swimming, and fishing at his family cottage at Swan lake in northern Wisconsin. 

LEANNE HOEG

Leanne is originally from Mediapolis, Iowa, a small town in the southeastern part of the state.  She relocated to the Milwaukee area with her husband, Bill.  Leanne received her BA in Elementary Education, with minors in Sociology and Psychology from Iowa Wesleyan University.  She has worked in some capacity in office administration for the last 25+ years; over half of those years for her church.  Leanne enjoys getting to know those connected with the church, and joining in ministry as God leads to further the Spirit's plans locally and beyond. 

In her free time Leanne enjoys spending time with her husband, entertaining in her home, and singing in her church's praise team.  She and Bill also enjoy traveling to visit their seven children and three grandchildren, who are spread out across five different states.  That keeps them busy! 

BECKY SCHUPPMAN   
CHILDREN’S MUSIC DIRECTOR
 

 Becky Schupmann is the Children's Music Director for North Shore Presbyterian Church. In the Fall of 2011, she accepted the position of Alto Choral Scholar for the NSPC Chancel Choir. In 2013, she was asked if she would be interested in teaching music to the children of NSPC - naturally, she said yes! She taught children's music at NSPC for about 8 years, through the end of December 2021. After a 3 year hiatus, she returned to NSPC once again as the Children's Music Director. 

Becky is so excited to be working with the amazing children of NSPC, and has been working with Pastor Jeannine to grow this excellent program. The Children's Choir sings at least once a month during Sunday service, and also performs an annual Christmas Pageant every December. 

Outside of teaching at NSPC, Becky works as a medical secretary for a local Ophthalmologist practice. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, Lily and Jonathan.
