Multiplying Our Mission

More than a kitchen.A gathering place.

The Shared Kitchen extends our communion table into the neighborhood: a place where relationships are strengthened, hospitality is practiced, and neighbors are cared for — embodying the spirit of the Loaves and Fishes story by sharing our resources for the good of all.

Building on Our Legacy

For more than 100 years, North Shore Presbyterian Church has been a place of welcome, faith, and community. This project continues that legacy — a welcoming space for hospitality and spiritual bonding.

The Shared Kitchen serves as an extension of our communion table, letting us be "good neighbors" through partnerships that embody a "Loaves and Fishes" mission.

Being Good Stewards

The Shared Kitchen transforms an underutilized area of our building into a thriving community hub while expanding our long-standing food ministry.

By partnering with local food entrepreneurs, we steward our building and financial resources to strengthen the church's viability and visibility in the neighborhood.

Enlivens the Building

The project builds bridges among the groups that use our space, strengthening the church's presence and creating new opportunities for service and connection.

It also creates a center for daily activity — after-school programs, intergenerational cooking classes, community meals, and more.

Life in the Shared Kitchen

From bakers launching a business to neighbors sharing a meal, the Shared Kitchen is a place to gather, learn, and grow together.

Making Our Mission Possible

The North Shore Presbyterian Church invites all to contribute financially to our Shared Kitchen project to foster a strong community. Such a thorough transformation of the kitchen represents a significant investment for the church.

It truly takes a village, and we appreciate your consideration.
